Executive Coaching

Invest In Your Leaders.

Realize potential.

You already know the value of your people. They’re moving your business forward every day. But organizational change can test even the strongest leaders, requiring them to adapt quickly and effectively.

That’s when executive coaching matters most.

When you invest in executive coaching, you invest in the potential and promise of your leadership team. With Onwards, you gain an independent partner who brings a clear, impartial perspective.

Each engagement is tailored to your goals for the leader and the needs of your organization. As the business sponsor, you help define what success looks like.

The Leadership Portrait℠ Explained

The Leadership Portrait℠ is a stakeholder insight report built using a proprietary Onwards methodology.

Insights are gathered through live, confidential interviews with selected peers, partners, leaders, and other key stakeholders. There are no generic online surveys. Direct conversations allow for deeper context, situational understanding, and more balanced input.

The report summarizes leadership strengths, competencies, and areas for increased self-awareness and growth.

Business sponsors and leaders consistently point to this work as one of the most valuable inputs to the overall coaching engagement.

Questions We Hear Often

  • Return on investment (ROI) considers the dollars. Coaching impact for businesses is broader. We use ROE—return on expectations—to also capture what you want to see or experience based on your goals, like greater executive presence, more confidence, stronger teams, higher retention, or anything else you’ve identified.

  • We start by defining what success looks like for you as the business sponsor. We then track progress against those goals—both the quantifiable impact as well as the changes you can see or hear in day-to-day behavior.

  • You help identify the leader’s primary goals and support the selection of a few stakeholders, including yourself, for short interviews to give a balanced view of strengths and needs. We meet again midway to review progress, and at the end to summarize key takeaways and what the leader will carry forward. The client leads the final session.

  • For the time commitment, we meet more often at the start to set goals and make sure the plan is clear. After that, sessions are usually every other week for up to one hour. Between meetings, we may share resources or touch base, if and where needed.

  • All coaching conversations are confidential. We share progress at a high level with the business sponsor, but not the content of private conversations unless the leader requests it. This approach follows standard coaching ethics and legal guidelines to protect trust and privacy.
